YOUR TASKS:

Lead and coordinate daily Base Maintenance bay operations, ensuring efficient allocation of manpower, aircraft, tools, materials, and other resources.
Supervise and support a team of mechanics, AMTs, and supervisors, ensuring maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and applicable aviation regulations.
Monitor maintenance progress, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery, taking corrective action when required.
Coordinate with Planning, Production, Quality, Logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of maintenance activities.
Support workforce planning, shift organization, overtime management, and resource allocation according to operational requirements.
Ensure proper completion of maintenance documentation, job cards, time records, and ERP information.
Promote a strong safety and quality culture within the bay and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and company standards.
Support performance management, coaching, and development of team members.
Monitor operational costs, productivity, and resource utilization within the assigned bay.
Act as a point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders regarding maintenance activities and operational matters.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft heavy maintenance, preferably in an MRO environment.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory, leadership, or management role within aircraft maintenance.
Technical or university education in Aircraft Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
Valid aircraft maintenance license (FAA A&P, EASA Part-66, or equivalent) is preferred/required according to the applicable authorization.
Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, safety and quality standards, and applicable aviation regulations.
Strong leadership, planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing manpower, productivity, resources, and operational costs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams.
Fluent English; Spanish is an advantage.
Willingness to work in Punta Cana and according to operational/shift requirements.
